My coaching objective is to serve my client´s agenda, goals and objectives. We do so in an agreed confidential and respectful partnership of listening, questions, brainstorming, mirroring back, strategizing tactics and plans while clearly acknowledging what helps and what hinders goal achievement.
I believe wholeheartedly in powerful art of coaching and will always base my coaching on listening, questions and facilitation of discovery within oneself. In addition, I mix styles of mentorship, advisement and education in a manner that best serves the client. Besides the art of coaching, my clients have access to my ample experience and knowledge as enriching assets that enrich the coaching experience and relationship. I specialize in walking couples through six-session intensive coaching including formal assessments, review, and strategy building for a thriving relationship at any stage.
Bio
Matthew supports those in positions of power, authority and influence to use this sacred force in a healthy, wholesome and life-giving manner in their personal lives, professionally and in organizational contexts. A Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, he earned a Masters in the Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University and also holds an MA in Spiritual Theology and another in Human Development for Priestly and Consecrated Life along with a post graduate specialization in Counseling, Family and Education.
Matthew has 30+ years of leadership development experience in large complex global organizations having enjoyed broad international and intercultural experience in Italy, Ireland, England, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico, leading teams representing all continents. He also had the honor to serve as a special Staff Officer and Chaplain in the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
Having spent 20 years in active ministry as a Catholic Priest, he leverages his deep and extensive knowledge of the human person and leadership that is rooted in robust academic preparation, leadership experience and personal work with thousands of individuals across decades and cultures.
