MaRIA Brackett, MA

Maria became involved in the ministry of spiritual direction in 2008. Since then she was trained in giving the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. She considers it a privilege to walk along others in their own integral growth, fostering health and healing by recognizing all the dimensions of the human person. With over 30 years of experience in teaching, leadership, formation and Catholic institutions, as well as spiritual growth and direction, Maria offers a comprehensive understanding and insight into spiritual experiences. Accompanying people as they grow is her passion.

Bio

Maria Brackett is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. She received a BA from Thomas More College of Liberal Arts and an MA from the University of Dallas, both in English. After this she went into the world of education, directing schools in the United States and Spain,  becoming bilingual and completing a MA in Pastoral Studies (Pontifical University Regina Apostolorum) and a BS in Education (Universidad Anáhuac).

She has experience in creating education programs and formative environments for high school and college, as well as the administration of K-12 schools. 

 

Maria spent about 15 years leading communities of women dedicated to full time missionary work. This experience gave her the chance to delve deeply into the call to consecration for women in the Catholic Church and to accompany consecrated women and communities in their own healthy integral development.

Payment information

Spiritual Direction & Coaching

Maria seeks to meet each person where they are at financially, charging $50 per one hour session. Meetings are typically monthly.

19th Annotation

Maria offers direction through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola weekly for 32 weeks. The cost is $1500, paid in three installments.

Executive Coaching

Maria has extensive experience working in Catholic schools, with religious institutions, and leadership teams. She offers weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly executive coaching for $150/session.

Vocational Discernment Group

Maria offers a monthly discernment group for women at any stage of vocational discernment. Cost is $100 for the year. The group is limited to 15 participants.
