Daren Weisbrod, LPC-Intern

Daren Weisbrod has served in pastoral ministry, coaching, spiritual direction, and missionary work extensively over the past 30 years. Now pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University, he anticipates beginning his internship in August 2026. He is undergoing traum-informed training and has a special interest in working with those who have experienced spiritual abuses within the Catholic Church. He will be working with all ages, including young children needing Play Therapy. He will be seeing individuals, couples, families, and groups. Please contact him directly to join his waitlist.

Availability

Daren anticipates beginning to see counseling clients in August 2026. He will be seeing clients in-person in the greater Grand Blanc area, as well as virtually. He is able to see clients from any geographic location. 

Credentials

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Italian

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, University of Notre Dame

  • Bachelor's in Philosophy and Theology from Rome, Italy. 

  • Enrolled in Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Divine Mercy University

  • Trauma trainings from the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology

Payments 

Private pay rate of $0-30 per session
